Spencer J. Wellborn studied hotel administration at Cornell University with a concentration in hospitality law. He was a Cornell Tradition Fellow for his extensive work experience in hospitality and significant commitment to community service. Mr. Wellborn furthered his knowledge of international business by enrolling at the Institute for Shipboard Education while aboard the M/V Explorer for Semester at Sea. Prior to attending law school at the University of Miami, Mr. Wellborn worked in Bangalore, India where he prepared and negotiated manufacturing, distribution, and licensing agreements for a biotechnology pharmaceutical company. While enrolled at University of Miami School of Law, Mr. Wellborn specialized in supply chain management, maritime law, and international trade.

Mr. Wellborn joined Spector Rubin, P.A. as a law clerk and transitioned to an associate after his admission to The Florida Bar. In his time as a member of the Spector Rubin team, he has represented freight forwarders from pre-litigation disputes forward, including comprehensive contract review and analysis, as well as extensive litigation strategy.
