Francis E. Curiel first joined Spector Rubin, P.A. as a legal assistant prior to enrolling at Florida International University College of Law. During law school, Ms. Curiel competed in regional appellate advocacy competitions and was awarded top oral advocate and best brief awards. Ms. Curiel also worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Rudolph Contreras (U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia) and as a law clerk for Sequor Law. Upon admission to the Florida Bar, Ms. Curiel worked as an attorney for Sequor Law, where she focused her practice on asset recovery, financial fraud litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, and other commercial disputes. In 2022, Ms. Curiel opened her own practice and rejoined Spector Rubin, P.A. as Of Counsel, providing legal writing and research services to the logistics and international trade defense team. Ms. Curiel is an accomplished brief writer in support of the firm’s litigation and appellate practice group.
